Beauty and the Beast
This and Labyrinth are always going to be my favourite movies. I’m convinced that all of my favourite ships and stories are renditions of Beauty and the Beast anyway - Sarah/Goblin King, Jane Eyre/Mr. Rochester, Hermione/Snape? Bookish, plain young woman meets unconventionally attractive, dark, boorish man, falls in love, is swept away. Ta-da! Beauty and the Beast.

The boy RA who was the only other Ziggy Stardust I saw on Halloween came by my room on rounds a couple of nights ago. Sara was packing for her trip and I was up doing sudoku in bed. The other RA was talking to Sara, and in a lull in the conversation, he went, “Hey, Ziggy!” I saluted and said “Solidarity, brother.” We didn’t say anything else, but I smiled until I fell asleep.
